FAQs

Custom and personalised orders
I am unable to accept returns for any CUSTOM or PERSONALISED orders, unless a mistake has been made on my part.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that any personal information provided to be stamped is correct (this includes the spelling of names, specific dates) If the customer makes an error on the order it is not our responsibility to remake or refund, a new order will need to be placed.

If it is us that has made an error translating your information from the Order onto the stamped piece then you are either entitled to a refund or for the item to be remade, at no additional cost to the customer.

Care instructions
Don't: Avoid direct contact with hairspray, perfume, sun lotion etc & do not wear in the bath, shower or pool/hot tub. Clean with water & mild soap then buff with a soft cloth.

Pearls, Gemstones & Precious Metals: Please use extra care with these to avoid damage or tarnishing from harsh chemicals like Chlorine & Perfumes. Think "Put on last, take off first"

Cuff Bracelets that are subject to ‘bending’ or ‘stretching’ to be put on or taken off during wear will over time weaken the metal itself & may be prone to cracking or breaking, without due care.

Keyrings: Please bear in mind that if they are attached to your keys and pulled in & out of handbags or pockets (and are being used daily) this may cause damage such as scratching over time.

Our items and Children
Whilst we endeavour to create our items to the highest standard using quality materials, please remember that items are handmade and will damage with rough handling. Handmade jewellery is not a toy or a play thing. We kindly ask you assess the age of the child you are buying for to ensure their item is looked after & assess the way that you use & store your item so as not to cause damage.

Any item that is made from twisted wire or other metal that is manipulated by hand will weaken causing damage by repeated bending or general wear and tear.

Whilst maximum care is taken to minimise any sharp edges, our items are made of metal and we will not be held responsible for injury caused by misuse or use without care and attention

What is Hand-Stamping?
Every letter is individually hand stamped on your piece with a metal letter/number stamp and a hammer. This creates different depths, spacing, and alignment which adds to the unique character of each piece or jewellery I make. Because of this, every item truly is one of a kind!

Hand Stamping gives a more rustic and personal feel than engraved jewelry, which is done by machine. Engraving removes the top layers of metal whereas Hand Stamping acts by method of Metal displacement - literally meaning that the metal is 'moved elsewhere'. This can leave a lip/risen edge around the letters on the front of your piece and a slight mark on the reverse side it. This unfortunately can not be helped but I minimise this wherever possible.

Keyrings
Please bear in mind that if they are attached to a large bunch of keys and therefore pulled in and out of handbags or pockets, often with other items on top and are being used daily, this may cause damage such as scratching. Many customers use them as bag charms or attach them to a back door or garage key that does not have such daily use but can still be functional.

Wholesale availability
I always ensure to have available stock of materials required to make all pieces that I produce, however sometimes when a rush of orders come through at once and/or there are stock issues with one of our suppliers it could be that there may be a delay in production of your item. In rare cases such as this I will contact you to discuss available options.
